She’s the ever-sunny host of TV’s hottest reality show – runaway ratings smash House Rules – but despite her famously friendly demeanour, Joh Griggs won’t put up with lies.
Hitting out this morning about a series of fictional allegations made against herself and the top-rated show in an Australian publication, she wants the truth to be known.
Responding to the outrageous claims that she feels caught in the middle of an alleged feud between the show’s judges, and – absurdly – that she feels the highly regarded program could hurt her career, Joh has clearly had enough.
‘I see you are at it again, writing bollocks,’ Joh wrote directly to the publication concerned, in a forthright response on her Instagram account.
‘For the record: I don’t feel stuck between the judges. I’m not worried about my career, and I’m really not feeling any angst at all about this year’s series.
‘It takes a lot to make me snap… and possibly the closest I’ve ever got is the frustration I feel when I read such rubbish.’
With the show a huge ratings smash, Joh has no time for attempts by media rivals to undermine its success, and is looking forward to another hit season next year.
‘This is just crap that you’ve made up to try and have a dig at #Houserules which FYI has just been renewed again for another season,’ she wrote, again directly addressing the publication.
‘Oh and that pic you have used is several years old! #fictionandmakebelieve.’
