There’s no doubt the charity reno has been the toughest so far on this season of House Rules.
And with just two places in the grand final on offer – it will be a fierce fight to the finish.
While married couple Fil and Joe have been arguably the most competitive team in the competition (minus Rose and Rob), the parents of two are worried they’ve been misrepresented.
The parents of – Jayden, 18 and Celeste, 15 – say they have laughed off how they have come across on screen.
‘We’re just laughing at ourselves, I think it’s the only way to be,’ Joe tells New Idea.
Fil adds: ‘You can get upset about it all or you can laugh at it and I’m laughing at it!’
However, the mum of two admits that it has been a little confronting watching herself at times – particularly when she was referred to as ‘the filinator’.
‘It’s difficult,’ she reveals.
‘It’s not an easy thing but 45 you kind of realise in life that you’ve got to be fair but you’ve also got to be tough sometimes!’
