Controversial House rules contestant Troy had fans cringing when he wiped his sweaty face with a display towel before putting it back on the rack in Sean and Ella’s bathroom.
And now, Ella herself has lashed out at the Sydney painter.
‘I had thousands of texts saying, ‘I hope you washed that towel! I think the whole of Australia was pretty grossed out about that. It was probably a pretty typical Troy move,’ she told TV Week.
‘Thank God someone suggested to me, ‘Make sure you wash all your towels.’ I’m so glad I did!’
Thankfully for Ella, there will be no more sweaty forehead wiping from Troy as he and partner Bec became the first team o be eliminated on Monday’s episode.
‘We weren’t ready to get off this ride (but) I’m proud of Bec and I’m proud of myself,’ a disappointed Troy revealed.
