There’s not a shred of doubt that gorgeous, bubbly blonde couple Sean and Ella are going to make wonderful parents.
But while they are busy discussing their impending wedding and planning their lives together, the Tasmanian duo say they aren’t quite ready for children.
However, that doesn’t mean they haven’t had hands-on experience with babies and childbirth.
Sean, 24, has delivered a few babies in his time as a paramedic, including once on the side of the road!
‘We were about 40 minutes away from the hospital and the woman was in labour, so we had to deliver the baby,’ he reveals to New Idea, adding: ‘It was a beautiful, healthy baby!’
Even though they’re trained for medical emergencies such as this one, Sean admits: ‘It’s definitely scary. ‘It’s such a special moment to actually help deliver the baby.
‘We followed up the next day and the baby was still happy and healthy. I tried to get them to name it Sean, but that didn’t happen!’
