Aaron and Daniella has been through the wars on hit renovation show House Rules, and after all they’ve been through, it’s not surprise that emotions are raw.
But things got particularly frank when Aaron was reduced to tears on the show after making a personal confession.
Following lavish praise from the show’s toughest judge, Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, Aaron broke down as he revealed why his renovation work on Sydney’s Bezzina House – ‘a lifeline for patients and their families who come from country areas and stay here when they’re receiving treatment for cancer at a nearby hospital’ – meant so much to him.
‘We went into the week knowing it was a cancer house and we did want to deliver something special,’ revealed Aaron, clearly highly emotional and fighting back tears.
‘Unfortunately, we are in a position where I’ve got a family member, who has to deal with the same sort of circumstances and has to stay in places like this, and it’s been really tough.
‘It’s just nice to give.’
