A House Rules contestant has revealed that competing on the show was so intense that she suffered hallucinations during filming.
Queensland-based Daniella Winter, 38, and husband Aaron, 31, have made it into the grand final this Sunday, but their journey hasn’t been without a few hiccups.

While the focus has been on winning the $200,000 prize, Daniella has admitted that the last few months have been so strenuous that her body has begun to “break down”.
The mother-of-two welcomed her newborn three-and-a-half months before entering House Rules and didn’t attain a doctor’s clearance after her emergency C-section to partake in the physical work involved with renovating.
Because of this, her body didn’t have time to heal and she now has to visit her obstetrician to discuss further surgery.
“My body just was not coping with the physical side of things — “I felt very out of control, on a merry-go-round,” she told The Daily Telegraph.
“Driving was quite hard. I would see things, cos you’re not sleeping and because (I’m stressed) … I couldn’t sleep,” she said.
Daniella and Aaron will face the grand final against South Australia’s Kate Whiting, 28, and James “Harry” Harris, 32, this Sunday on Channel 7.
