When Bec talks about baby Zach, the strong mum’s face can only muster a small, brave smile.
She fondly remembers her beloved firstborn, who passed away nearly 15 years ago, 27 weeks into her pregnancy.
‘He’s with me every single day,’ she tells.

‘Hayley and Josh came very quickly after him,’ she remembers of that time.
‘I look at Hayley and Josh, and they’re my angels given back from him.’
The busy Sydneysider was a single mum for eight years before meeting her partner Troy.
‘Bringing them up on my own has been incredibly hard,’ she explains. ‘There have been a lot of really hard things, but you just get up and go. You do a lot for your kids, so you go above and beyond.’
But now, Bec is so grateful to 46-year-old Troy for his ongoing help with raising her children.
‘The kids are even better for it now Troy is with us,’ she says. ‘They have an absolute ball!’
Troy adds: ‘Josh is probably one of my best mates.
