And fireman Andy and his flight attendant wife Lisa continued to prove their couple goals credentials with their latest Instagram snap shared yesterday.
Taking to the social media site, the South Australian contestants – who dated for 11 years before tying the knot – shared an album of touching throwbacks from their wedding day last year.
One shot shows a delighted Andy lifting his bride into the air, while another shows a concentrated Lisa carefully applying her lipstick in the wedding car on her way to the altar.
The duo, who share an Instagram acccount, captioned the series:
“One year ago to the almost minute, we met at the arbour in a beautiful place in our home of Adelaide and said I do.
“The year has raced through, and now we’re here, running around like crazy on this thing called House Rules.
“I wonder what the next year will bring!? 💙💫💍💏”
Friends and fans were quick to share messages of love and support for the couple, with one woman writing: “Happy Anniversary.. wow look at what you’ve both achieved in just 1 year! Very proud of you both x 💕”
Lisa and Andy have been involved in one renovation before House Rules, and both believe they have what it takes to win the contest.
Now in its seventh year, House Rules has cemented itself as Australia’s favourite renovation show and one of the nation’s most loved reality shows along with Seven’s My Kitchen Rules and Channel 9’s Married At First Sight.
