Fans were left fearing for the health of NRL Footy Show star Beau Ryan this week after his wife Kara posted a photo on Instagram of the former Cronulla Sharks player asleep in a hospital bed.
‘It’s been a loooong 2 Days!!!’ wrote Kara along with the photo – which showed her wearing a sanitary face mask.
Failing to divulge any details as to why her husband was in hospital, Kara was inundated with questions from worried followers asking what was wrong.
Thankfully, a Channel Nine spokesperson has confirmed the star is now ‘home and doing well’ after being ‘admitted to hospital because of the flu’.
At this stage it is not known whether or not Beau will be well enough to join the panel on this week’s Footy Show.
