Still mending her broken heart after Zac’s betrayal and their subsequent divorce, Leah is caught off-guard when a mysterious man starts hitting on her next week on Home And Away.
While working in the diner, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) is lost in thought over some flippant comments Tori (Penny McNamee) threw her way earlier that day. Tori believed Leah to have already moved on from her ex, but that’s not how Leah sees it – she’s barely had a moment to sit down and breathe, let alone move on!
She’s also plagued with thoughts that this is her third failed marriage – how can she possibly face putting herself back out there again? Noticing her sullen face, Roo (Georgie Parker) checks in to see what’s troubling her.
But just as Roo begins to comfort Leah, three men enter the diner. Leah catches the eye of one of the men and, wasting no time, he brazenly starts hitting on her.
Red-faced and uncomfortable, Leah shies away from his advances. He introduces himself as Nick (Jacob Allan) and boldly asks Leah out on a date.
Roo encourages her friend to accept the offer. There’s no harm in getting a drink, right?
After collecting her thoughts and taking a breath, Leah pulls Nick aside for a private chat.
She tells him that she’ll go for a drink with him, but she’s been through a lot in the past 12 months so they’ll need to take things slowly.
For the first time in a long time, Leah can’t wipe the smile off her face. Will the fourth time be a charm?
