Just days ago Ash (George Mason) was planning his life with beautiful girlfriend Kat (pia Miller) and his gorgeous baby niece Luc.
Looking forward to birthdays and Christmases as a family, the mechanic didn’t anticipate the love of his life wouldn’t share his dream.
Everything comes crashing down this week on Home And Away when the ambitious policewoman confesses she doesn’t want to adopt Luc with Ash and settle down.
Does this mean the end of their relationship?
Heading to Salt, an emotional Kat starts to drown her sorrows and bumps into Scarlett (Tania Nolan).
Kat worries she’s delusional in thinking she could give up every woman’s dream – a gorgeous man and a baby.
But Scarlett tells her that a child is a huge responsibility and you have to be ready for it – after all, motherhood isn’t for everyone.
It’s been a rocky road for the passionate pair, who fought their feelings for each other for months on end.
Meanwhile, Ash may be consumed by his troubles with Kat, but could there be a spark between him and a new woman?
Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee) is surprised when Ash turns up at her front door looking for her brother Justin (James Stewart).
She invites him in and offers her shoulder to cry on, tenderly taking Luc in her arms.
Ash is pleasantly surprised by how good she is with a baby – as is Justin, who catches his sister looking lovingly at Ash.
Could Tori be brewing a crush on the long-time Summer Bay bad boy?
