Home And Away’s devastating cliffhanger

Prepared to be shocked to the core!

Fans were left on the edge of their seats last night when Home And Away’s episode ended.

The hit show toyed with our emotions by airing a promo for the post-Olympics episodes showing that the plane Duncan (Benedict Wall) was flying did indeed crash in some sand dunes near Summer Bay.

And some of the most-loved members of the Bay’s lives are in danger following the devastating crash.

From the promo, it seems that fortunately Leah (Ada Nicodemu), Irene (Lynne McGranger), Evie (Philippa Northeast), Tori (Penny McNamee), Mason (Orpheus Pledger), Nate (Kyle Pryor) and Duncan appear to be safe but things don’t look good for Billie (Tessa de Josselin) and Brody (Jackson Heywood).

The nine passengers and their pilot were flying a private charter plan to a winery to celebrate Tori’s 30th birthday.

‘It will be fun,’ Tori said excitedly.

Unbeknownst to the Morgan siblings, their eldest brother Justin (James Stewart) was embroiled in a fight to save their lives thanks to the evil Spike (Jason Montgomery).

After the federal police captured Spike just before he could lay hands on “the book” Justin and Phoebe (Isabella Giovinazzo) found in a storage unit.

‘You got no idea what you’ve done. Say goodbye to your sister for me,’ Spike threatened Justin.

Unfortunately for the plane passengers, they didn’t have much reception at the airport so they couldn’t answer Justin’s calls to warn them about the hose leaking gas into the main cabin.

The drama reached boiling point when the plane took off and Justin ran after his loved ones…but he was too late…

Who will survive and how will the crash change Summer Bay forever?
