Greatly relieved that tearaway teen Bella (Courtney Miller) – now under her care – finally seems to be knuckling down and focusing on her school work, Irene (Lynne McGranger) is pleased to see the teen apparently hard at work on her laptop.
But Irene has no idea that Bella has in fact formed a connection with a stranger in an online study forum.

“Bella doesn’t know anything about this person,” says Courtney. “All she knows is that she made a friend on her own, and I think she’s quite proud of that and wants to keep it secret.”
But we soon see that the individual – who goes under the name ‘TomCat’ – is bombarding Bella with messages.
