With the sad news that Jackson Heywood (A.K.A Brody Morgan) will be departing Summer Bay, members of the cast have taken to social media to bid their friend farewell.
However, one Home and Away cast member brought a tear to our eyes with their beyond sweet tribute to the Australian actor; Penny McNamee.

Penny – who plays Jackson’s on-screen sister Tori Morgan – took to social media to send off her friend with an emotional message.
Posting a photo of the entire Morgan clan (including James Stewart, Olivia Deeble, and Orpheus Pledger), Penny wrote: “At our last Morgan Family rehearsal with JACKO!!! ❤️
“Jackson was the first Morgan I met at our @homeandaway audition. We instantly clicked and spent our lunch break talking each others’ ears off. Jacko – you are one of a kind. Honest, gentle, hilarious and talented beyond belief. Our scenes together were always special – we just felt like real siblings.💖”
Penny continued: “I miss seeing you each day, but can’t wait to see you conquer the world with your wild, beautiful talent!”
Deeble, who plays Jackson’s on-screen sister Raffy Morrison, commented on the post: “I love this photo so so so sooooo much.”
Earlier this morning Jackson dedicated his own Instagram post to his Home and Away family.
“What a ride. Thanks to every one of you who came along for the journey over the last 3 years. Brody is now and will be, a part of me forever, and I’m grateful beyond words for all the support and cheers I’ve received along the way.”
Jackson has departed the TV show following one of the most entertaining storylines the long-running soap has seen.
Following Brody cheating on wife Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) with newcomer Simone (Emily Eskell), it was only a matter of time before Brody (and Jackson) up and left Summer Bay with his new love interest.
Jackson, you will be missed!
