History will be made when Benedict Wall appears onscreen next week as the infamous Duncan Stewart.
After Duncan’s christening in 1989, it’s been a massive 27 years since the formerly troubled teen, Alf (Ray Meagher) and half-sister Roo (Georgie Parker) have been seen on screen at the same time.
‘It’s pretty overwhelming playing such an iconic character,’ Benedict tells New Idea.
‘He was so naughty, who can forget him? He was one of those love-to-hate characters. It was a bit surreal walking on set for the first day. It’s like stepping into your childhood, because those guys have been there a long time.’
