Reeling from Heath’s shock arrival back in the Bay, Bianca tries to focus her thoughts on preparing dinner with Irene.
Bianca’s (Lisa Gormley) internal struggle reaches fever pitch this week as Heath (Dan Ewing) turns up to resolve their troubles.
Bianca’s mind is all over the place – what has Heath done to upset her so terribly? Heath is persistent in his efforts, telling Bianca he’s not giving up on them but Bianca isn’t listening – she wants him to leave town.
Can Bianca stay married to him, and what has he done that’s thrown their relationship into such turmoil? When Heath questions whether she still loves him, Bianca asks him to leave her alone.
Later on, Irene (Lynne McGranger) notices Heath at the diner and asks what’s going on with Bianca, but he won’t spill. When Irene arrives home, Bianca’s in no mood to talk either and refuses Irene’s help.
With Bianca freezing Heath out, he goes to Salt to drown his sorrows. Nate (Kyle Pryor) spots Heath at the bar and the two have a beer.
Enjoying the company, the conversation turns to Nate’s relationship breakdown with Ricky (Bonnie Sveen) and whether it was hard to let her go. Nate admits it was really difficult, none the wiser to Heath and Bianca’s situation.
The next morning, having cooled down, Bianca apologises to Irene for biting her head off. Bianca admits there’s nothing Irene can do and she says she thinks her marriage with Heath is over.
Is this the end for the much-loved couple?
