Rove McManus and Sam Frost are officially farewelling radio.
The Hit Network has announced that the pair’s nightly radio show has been axed.
“Rove and Sam’s 7-8 pm show on the Hit Network will finish up today, June 30,” a spokesperson told News.com.au.
While the father-of-one will remain “within the SCA family” to work on a “new project,” the spokesperson confirmed that Frost’s contract has ended.

The duo first took to the airwaves at the beginning of 2016, but after seeing out the year with just 3.8 per cent audience share in the breakfast category, they were replaced by comedians Em Rusciano and Harley Breen.
The news is sure to come as a shocking blow to media veteran Rove who moved back to Sydney with his wife Tasma Walton and their daughter Ruby to take on the role.
The couple had previously been living in Los Angeles for several years.
