Australian child actress, Sarah Monahan has spoken in outrage over the shocking comments made by the father of the Standford University rapist – calling him a ‘piece of s*** who failed to teach his son right from wrong’.
This comes as the two Swedish students who caught Brock Allen Turner raping a 23-year-old collage student at a frat party broke their silence to give their take on the shocking event.
‘She was unconscious. The entire time. I checked her and she didn’t move at all,’ said Carl-Fredrik Arndt. ‘The guy stood up then we saw she wasn’t moving still. So we called him out on it. And the guy ran away, my friend Peter chased after him.’
20-year-old American swimmer, Brock was found guilty of three counts of sexual assault in March and has been sentenced to just six months in jail.
Now in an online essay, former Hey Dad child star, Sarah – who was abused by her onscreen dad and convicted pedophile, Robert Hughes – has spoken out.
‘Now, if you weren’t already seething at the leniency of the sentence, this guy’s father comes out and tries to say that it’s still too much for his poor baby rapist son,’ Sarah wrote. ‘He says his boy lost his smile, and hardly eats anymore. So, never mind that the girl he raped may never smile again, or have trouble eating.’
The light sentence has been a hot topic of debate in the US, however Brock’s father has controversially stated that jail time wasn’t an ‘appropriate’ punishment, describing it as a ‘steep price to pay for 20 minutes of action’.
