Radio bully Kyle Sandilands has issued a public apology to his co-host Jackie O after he again slated her weight – despite the fact that at a healthy 66kg she’s vastly slimmer than he is.
The hefty DJ, who has a long history of shaming stars – usually women – for not meeting his weight expectations, suggested to his co-host that she was no longer slim or ‘cool’ enough for his liking.
‘Lucky you didn’t get any tattoos when you were young and cool because they would be all s*** and stretched out of shape,’ the famously rude performer told Jackie.
Apparently used to the criticism, Jackie responded dryly, ‘Oh that’s hilarious’.
Thinking better of his spiteful spray, Kyle admitted, ‘I’m sorry, that was an a**hole thing to say. I say that in a jokes way, hun. You do know I think you’re lovely’.
