Friends are reportedly begging Heather Locklear to get help and go back to rehab – following disturbing claims about alleged physical clashes with her boyfriend, and a terrifying car crash – according to a sensational report published in America’s National Enquirer today.
The 55-year-old former Melrose Place star suffered a broken collarbone when she crashed her Porsche into a ditch on Sept. 14.
The publication sensationally alleges that Heather physically clashed with her boyfriend, high school sweetheart Chris Heisser, weeks before the accident. Heather has yet to respond to the Enquirer‘s allegation she was involved in such a fracas.
“This guy isn’t good for Heather’s sobriety,” the Enquirer’s unnamed source alleges.
“Heather went completely psycho and threw things at Chris. She was in a rage. It was a mess… we’re sure that’s what put her in the state that caused the accident.”
Reports at the time (see video below) stated emphatically that drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
As the Enquirer previously reported, Heather checked into Cliffside Malibu Rehab Center over the Christmas holidays after suffering what it alleged was “a booze-and Benzedrine-fueled breakdown.”
She had allegedly “barricaded” herself in her home before allowing ex-husband Richie Sambora to drive her to the rehab center, according to the report. It was said to be her fifth known trip to a treatment facility.
Adding to concern among friends, the Enquirer reports that Chris served two years in prison after pleading guilty to “40 counts of forgery and corruption of records… grand theft, personal identity theft and unlicensed business transactions.”
After her accident, Heather posted a message to social media: “I’m home and good.”
“Heather has locked herself away, and isn’t talking to anyone,” the Enquirer‘s source adds.
