Heather Locklear’s struggle with alcohol and pills landed her in rehab for the fifth time – amid very disturbing and emotional scenes – following a huge holiday meltdown, reports US publication the National Enquirer.
The former Melrose Place star, 55, was taken to Cliffside Malibu rehab centre after she went on a rampage and fired her staff on Christmas Eve.
“She was drunk, on pills, and crying and screaming,” a source at the treatment centre told The Enquirer. “She’s on alcohol and benzo[s]. She’s in a private house with two other people.”
Heather’s in “terrible” shape again, The Enquirer’s source reveals.
The Dynasty darling previously checked herself into rehab in 2008 for prescription drug and booze issues.
That same year, Heather was charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
Another trip to rehab followed in 2010, and in 2012, Heather was carted off to the psych ward for treatment of “intense stomach pain” and “severe distress,” according to The Enquirer.
Heather recently alarmed shoppers at an LA-area mall for looking “puffy-faced and out of it.”
