ABC TV favourite Leigh Sales is enduring a heartbreaking marriage split from her maths teacher husband, according to published reports.
The couple, who have been together for twenty years and have two young children together, quietly split over Christmas, according to Sydney’s Daily Telegraph – which says the sad outcome followed ‘the worst year’ of the TV host’s life.
Leigh reportedly endured a life threatening uterine rupture after giving birth to her son in 2014 – with the pain so crippling she was unable to hold her baby for several days.
‘To be thrown into a circumstance where I had absolutely no control and was then at the other end of it incapable of looking after myself, incapable of looking after my three-year-old and after a newborn baby — it was very, very confronting and hard for me to take,’ she has been quoted as saying of the trauma.
Husband Christopher has posted a number of cryptic messages on social media – allegedly indicating his unhappiness with his situation by sharing a stark image of vegetables cooking on a barbie – with no meat in sight.
Neither Leigh nor Christopher have made any statement about the Daily Telegraph’s report.
