Meghan Markle is stressing over what her life would be like as a royal and is considering calling off her wedding to Prince Harry, Life & Style is reporting today.
The Suits actress doesn’t want to lose her own identity the way she feels Kate Middleton has.
“Marrying Harry would be completely giving up her life as she knows it,” a source tells Life & Style. “She is a smart, independent woman, and a life of shaking hands, cutting ribbons and kissing babies in public just isn’t one she can envision for herself.”
The source goes on to reveal Meghan and Harry have been secretly engaged for six months.
“She loves Harry and what they have together, but she keeps seeing glimpses of her future with him and wondering if it’s really a life she wants to lead,” notes the source.
Harry is completely sympathetic to Meghan, and even he thought about “giving up the royal life,” says the source.
“Harry’s playing it smart. He’s being supportive while telling Meghan about the platform they would have to help millions of people around the world.”
