Hayden Panettiere is suing her dog sitter, according to court documents.
The documents, obtained by TMZ, claim Tia Brooks filed a lawsuit against the actress for $8,500 in unpaid services. However, Panettiere fought back with a lawsuit of her own saying Brooks gave her dogs away.
Panettiere rescued two dogs, Zander and Xena, and was paying Brooks $30 a day to look after them, until a permanent home was found.
Panettiere’s lawyer Marty Singer claims Brooks found a home for the dogs but continued to bill the Nashville star.
Court documents say Brooks spent six years caring for the dogs and made a total of $119,335.88, which included the daily fee plus extra.
Brooks says the bill got so high to cover vet bills as one of the dogs was sick.
