Movie legend Harrison Ford has issued a heartbreaking statement about the passing of his former Star Wars costar and onetime lover, Carrie Fisher – who has tragically passed away aged just 60.
Describing the actress as a ‘an original’, the star has added to the chorus of sadness around the world.
‘Carrie was one-of-a-kind…brilliant, original,’ he said in a statement. ‘Funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life, bravely.’
The actor concluded by sending his thoughts to Carrie’s mum, Debbie Reynolds, daughter Billie Lourd, and brother Todd Fisher.
