But fans will be devastated to learn the lads have discussed going their separate ways after their radio show comes to an end later this year.

‘It wouldn’t be surprising
if that happened,’ Andy, 36, opens up to New Idea.

‘We step out and try different things individually.’

Although, their followers can breathe a sigh of relief – Andy says they always come back to each other eventually.

‘We just always end up deciding that we want to work together,’ he reassures.

In fact, the boys are currently editing the final episodes of their new TV venture True Story With Hamish & Andy.

In a way an extension of their radio show, the 10-part series sees the university pals sit down with everyday Australians, who recount true stories that are then brought to life by actors, including Craig McLachlan, Kat Stewart and John Wood.

Hamish, 35, and Andy have been quietly working on the show for almost three years, along with mates and fellow Radio Karate creators Tim Bartley and Ryan Shelton.

‘It’s been a long labour of love,’ Andy reveals.
