According to The Daily Telegraph, the singer took the matter to the Federal Court in mid-2018 after he parted ways from his former manager in late 2017.

Yesterday, Federal Court Justice Tom Thawley confirmed that three days of hearings will be held in June 2020.

Both parties allege they’re owed dollars by the other, with Sebastian seeking $200,000 in performance and other fees, and Day claiming his company 6 Degrees was owed hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Australian Idol winner, his wife Jules Sebastian and their charity, the Sebastian Foundation.

“What we are owed is still being calculated but I estimate between Guy, his wife and the Sebastian Foundation 6 Degrees is owed $800,000,” the agent said in August 2018, according to The Daily Telegraph.

In an email response to press enquiries when Sebastian sensationally began the legal proceedings, he said “divulging sensitive information in a public court case” was not his or Jules’ “style.”

Titus was also the agent of Channel 10’s Grant Denyer, and according to The Daily Mail, helped the TV personality to rebuild his career after Denyer checked himself into a rehab facility in Thailand.

However, in 2018, Denyer also split with Day after eight years of working together, claiming that he and his wife, Chezzi Denyer no longer wanted to pay commission.

“But he is a wonderful talent and a good person, so I wish him well in everything he does,” he continued.
