Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are on top of the world, after receiving stars together on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And it’s about time, after nearly 50 years in the business!
But that’s not the only impressive figure that was celebrated on the day – the duo have been together for 33 years, and judging by Goldie’s announcement as they took centre stage in the ceremony, another overdue celebration may be coming very soon.
‘Can we just get married? We’ve never had a celebration like this before,’ Goldie giggled as she took in the honour.
Kurt too seemed in a romantic mood as he accepted his place among the greats of Hollywood.
‘Goldie to you, I owe my wonderful life,’ he announced. ‘Simply put Goldie, I cherish you. All of the stars in the sky or the boulevard don’t hold a candle to that. There’s no one else I’d rather be next to than Goldie Hawn.’
Congratulations, Goldie and Kurt – it’s been a long time coming.
