Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have secretly split in what’s set to become a $130 million bust-up, America’s National Enquirer is sensationally reporting this morning.
The couple, who’ve been together 34 years, reportedly broke up amidst jealousy and hush-hush affairs, claims the publication.
“They love each other, but they’ve just accepted they can’t be together 24/7,” a source tells The Enquirer. “Their relationship has been volatile at times, and they’ve considered calling it quits. But at their age they decided that it makes sense to stick together as long as they have their own space.”
So they have built a new house over an existing mansion in LA’s posh Brentwood area – and it’s got separate living quarters.
“Goldie and Kurt designed the place with separate bedrooms, separate bathrooms and even a cozy living area for each of them,” says the source, adding they do share kitchen, dining room and a formal living room privileges.
Troubles erupted due to Goldie’s grieving over a former lover, Swedish opera singer and actor Bruno Wintzell, with whom she had a romance from 1973 to 1975.
In 2002, Bruno died of cancer at the age of 58. Goldie still misses him and it’s caused tension between her and Kurt, according to the publication.
Kurt and Goldie have had fights over his alleged affairs too.
Right now, the source says, “They’re under the same roof, but they’re still struggling.”
