Since the fifth season of Gogglebox Australia came to an end in April, hundreds of thousands of fans have been counting down the days until the hit series returns.
While the next season is yet to be announced, Foxtel and Channel Ten have revealed a spin off will begin on July 5.
Common Sense features 24 ordinary Aussies, aged from 21 to 92, from 10 diverse workplaces across the country discussing the news of the week and making sense of it all in a light-hearted, honest and hilarious way.
‘We’ll be covering the headlines everyone is talking about to the more obscure stories viewers might have missed,’ executive producer David McDonald says.
Like Gogglebox does with television, Common Sense will filter the news and current.
Included in the cast are hairdressing mums Nicki, 31, and Kathy, 45, and old business partners Robert, 70, and Lord Frank, 74.
Common Sense will premiere on Foxtel’s Lifestyle channel on Wednesday, July 5 at 7.30pm and on Channel Ten on Thursday July 6 at 8.30pm.
