Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell has announced she’s pregnant with her second child at the age of 44 with husband Christian Horner.
Halliwell announced the news in a cryptic Instagram post blessing mother nature. Her Team later confirmed the pregnancy in a press release.
‘Geri and Christian are absolutely delighted to announce they are expecting their first child together,’ the statement said.
‘The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family.
‘Geri married Red Bull Formula 1 Team Principal Christian Horner at a ceremony held in a parish church at Bedfordshire in May last year, where Geri’s daughter Bluebell was a bridesmaid.’
Despite, the exciting news, Halliwell’s plans to grow her family do not appear to be sitting well with another member of the famous group – the Spice Girls. Fans quick to notice Mel B recently unfollowed Halliwell, a move she pulled with Melanie C after she declined to participate in a Spice Girls reunion.
Mel B, Halliwell and Emma Bunton sparked rumours earlier this year that they’ll be doing a three-person reunion show.
