But considering she’s ended up with 16 ex-boyfriends in the space of a few short months, The Bachelorette’s Georgia Love, definitely knows a thing or two about how to make it work.

Speaking to Mamamia on Tuesday, the reality TV star revealed that staying friends with the former contestants wasn’t originally in her plan.

“I remember seeing photos of Sam Frost and Sasha with, I think it was Dave, and I was like, ‘That’s weird. That’s really weird.’ But now I’m in it I’m like, ‘No it’s not weird,” she admitted.

“So I’m sorry, Sam – I get it.”

Since filming wrapped up, the 28-year-old and her beau Lee Elliot have made a point of maintaining relationships with their Bachelorette buds.

In fact, the pair have often been spotted hanging out with fellow contestant star Cameron Cranley, with the trio even attending the Portsea Polo together last weekend.

“Lee and Cam are such good friends, and if Lee’s fine with it, we’re fine with it,” she told Mamamia of the unique bond they have developed.

“He’s just one of our mates. We just met in a strange way.”

While the former journalist’s introduction to her Bachelorette castmates was definitely out of the ordinary, she confesses it’s not all that different to dating in real life.

“If you go on a date with someone and kiss them but nothing comes from that, you might end up still hanging out with that person; you just didn’t want to date them anymore. And that’s what it is with the other guys,” she explained.

“I mean, obviously not some of them – I don’t think Lee, Matty [runner-up] and I are going to be hanging out anytime soon. But, you know.”
