This year, Georgia Love quit her promising TV anchor job in Tasmania so she could follow her heart and look for love on The Bachelorette.
Georgia was successful on the reality dating show, finding love with Lee Elliott.
Now, mere months after the show wrapped, Georgia has landed herself a spot on the Studio 10 panel.
Georgia will fill in for Sarah Harris as she takes time off over the Summer holidays.
Last week, Georgia joined the panel alongside Sarah, Joe Hildebrand, Denise Drysdale and Jo Casamento where they discussed the 27-year-old’s exciting new role.
‘The Studio 10 team are absolutely wonderful and they made me feel so at home and welcome,” she said of her debut on the Ten morning show. ‘I wasn’t too nervous as I do feel comfortable and at home in a TV news setting so it was a nice feeling being back in that environment.
Of course, there were some nerves as I haven’t worked in panel setting before and I was sitting among professionals.’
When questioned if there were any similarities to Studio 10 and The Bachelorette, Georgia revealed the two shows couldn’t be more different.
‘This was in front of a live studio audience with a producer in your ear, calling out when ad breaks are coming up, what talk topics are next and so on,’ Georgia explained. ‘The Bachelorette was very much me out there on my own!’
Georgia has been laying low since The Bachelorette finished as she gets t know her new partner Lee out of the spotlight. During this time her mother Belinda passed away from pancreatic cancer.
