Sad news as former Glee star Naya Rivera has filed for divorce from Ryan Dorsey.
Confirming the news in a statement, the duo revealed their controversial marriage was now history.
‘After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage’ the pair confirmed in a joint media release. ‘Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.’
The pair, who have been married for two years, now face working out arrangements for their son Dorsey, with Naya seeking primary custody, with Ryan getting visitation rights. He has yet to express any position on the matter.
The couple’s relationship has always been controversial, with Naya wedding Ryan just three months after the collapse of her engagement to rapper Big Sean.
