During his appearance on the Fitzy and Wippa radio show, the 31-year-old confirmed that Molan is “innocent”.

“I’ve spoken to Erin every day. I fully support her as a colleague and more importantly, as a friend. It’s all bulls**t.”

“They’ll all see the real Erin and the true story come out. You know, she’s innocent. Nothing’s happened. It’s all huff and puff.”

The public show of support came just hours after the 34-year-old broke down while addressing the drama in a statement live-on air.

“It’s obviously been a really tough week for me, my fiance and my family… we are all devastated to be dragged into what is a very sad situation – but one that doesn’t involve any of us,” she said, shortly after The Footy Show began.

“We’re devastated to be dragged into a very sad situation, particularly given the insinuation of an inappropriate relationship.”

“And I can assure you there is not one iota of truth to any of the speculation, it is not who I am, and it doesn’t reflect the values that I possess, and it is not how I was raised.”

“I just wanted to say to everyone who has set me messages of support, and who has supported me both publicly and privately, it has meant the absolute world to me and to Sean and has really helped in what has been a difficult week.”

She continued: “I don’t mean to be self-indulgent because there are people out there who are fighting very tough battle that are far more serious than mine, but thank you for your support.”

Her emotional statement was met with applause by the studio audience.
