She’s prone to the occasional fashion faux pas, and now Modern Family star Ariel Winter has been left red-faced over her latest wardrobe clanger.
The 18-year-old made a snap decision to pour herself into this Yousef AIJasmi gown for her Emmys appearance – but unfortunately for her, she’s committed a cardinal celebrity sin: wearing the same dress as another famous person.
Just a week ago, Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kylie Jenner was seen in New York in the same dress, only with a shorter length.
It appears that Ariel didn’t take her time researching her clothing options, telling a reporter on the red carpet, ‘This was actually the quickest decision,’ she says. ‘I saw it, tried it on, and was like, ‘This is what I’m going to wear,’ and that’s that.’
Despite her slightly awkward outfit choice, Ariel has earned plenty of praise for her sleek up-styled hair and minimalistic makeup.
‘She looks very elegant,’ says a witness. ‘That dress is far beyond her years, but it suits her.’
