Ed Sheeran has put a ring on it! The Shape Of You singer sparked speculation that he and his ancee Cherry Seaborn, had secretly got hitched after he was spotted wearing a plain silver band on a very important finger at a gig in London.
And, Ed added fuel to the re after he attended the BRIT
Awards wearing the same band. Notoriously private about his personal life, the singer is keeping tight-lipped, but a source revealed the pair are not married yet.
‘Ed is wearing a ring to show his commitment to being engaged to Cherry, but he’s not married yet,’ the source told The Sun. ‘He’s amused by the fuss it’s caused, however has no intentions of taking it off, so it’ll be on his hand during his BRIT’s performance.’
The news comes only months after Ed announced his engagement to Cherry after three years dating.
‘Got myself a ancee just before new year,’ Ed wrote on Instagram in December.
The pair first met at Thomas Mills High School, but didn’t start dating until 2015, after they reunited at Taylor Swift’s Fourth of July party.
Ed has spoken out in the past about his desire to settle down with Cherry and start a family.
‘I wanted to be a dad, like, last year,’ Ed revealed in an inter view on Apple Music’s Beats 1.
‘I’m ready, let’s go – tour bus babies, little fat, chubby babies that just walk around.’
