Former wrestling champ Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been awarded his latest accolade: the sexiest man alive.
People magazine awarded the actor the title, describing him as ‘sweet, smart and sculpted’.
‘Wow, we’ve pretty much reached the pinnacle,’ The Rock said. ‘I’m not quite too sure where we go from here. I’ve done it all, this is it.’
As for what he deems as sexy, The Rock looks for someone with ‘a sense of humour.’
‘And I think probably just not trying to be sexy and just being cool and confident in your movies. I think with a lot of my fans, I’ve gotten to a very, very cool place where there’s a direct line between the man they know off-screen and the man they see on screen.’
The Rock follows in the footsteps of Chris Hemsworth, who took out the award last year and David Beckham, who won the title in 2015.
This isn’t the only award the Moana voice actor has been awarded this year. In August, The Rock was named Hollywood’s highest-paid actor, earning a massive $64.5 million (AUD$86 million) between June 2015-2016.
