As one of TV’s most eligible bachelors, Chris Brown keeps fans guessing about his love-life. While the TV vet has been dating fellow presenter Liv Phyland since last year, last week he was caught in that most awkward of social situations: bumping into the ex.

Chris was at the airport when he crossed paths with his former girlfriend, Kendall Bora, and could not disguise his awkwardness.
While Kendall appeared completely unbothered by the interaction with her ex, laughing as she put her hand on his arm and chatting away, Chris appeared to be standing up straight with his hands in his pockets.
It’s not a surprise that he might feel a bit uncomfortable about seeing Kendall again – especially as it could cause a little trouble for him and his current love interest.
Kendall and Chris dated for two years before splitting last year, and although they always kept their relationship under wraps and never appeared at industry events or on the red carpet together, at the time there were reports that they were considering marriage.
According to a source, however, the Channel Ten producer broke things off after deciding Chris wasn’t taking any real steps towards making a long-term commitment. The insider told New Idea that Kendall had privately labelled Chris a “Peter Pan” who had a “commitment phobia” and appeared to revel in the attention he gets when he’s single.
They were outed as a couple in November 2018, after being spotted at a truck stop during a NSW Central Coast road trip. At the time a source revealed: “They left together in a white Range Rover, he was driving and she was in the passenger seat. The boot was packed with surfing gear that looked like they were headed off for a weekend away.”
While the couple seem to have tried over the past few months not to appear together in public, it was recently made clear that their relationship was still going strong. Last month, the 29-year-old presenter was hospitalised for acute appendicitis, and after undergoing surgery, paid tribute to her 40-year-old boyfriend in a cute Instagram story.
Seemingly confirming that he’d been by her side throughout the ordeal, she posted a bemused selfie with the concerned looking vet in the background examining her bedside medical equipment, captioning the snap, “Me repeatedly over the past 24 hrs: ‘You’re an animal Doctor; I’m a human.’
”But despite reports stating that Chris is planning to pop the question and ask Liv to be his wife, there have also been rumours that the pair are struggling to make a go of their relationship.
Chris’ demanding shooting schedule, which sees him travelling frequently is said to be the main reason, as well as his apparent dislike of going public with his romantic interests. In 2018, Chris alluded to not being comfortable with talking about his private life.
“Some people shout it from the rooftops and put it all over social media, and that’s fine – each to their own. I’ve just never been someone to do that,” he revealed to Sydney’s Wentworth Courier newspaper.
Liv and Chris certainly took pains to keep their distance at last week’s Logies. While Liv was spotted arriving at Gold Coast Airport two days before the TV awards ceremony, she didn’t appear to walk the red carpet. Instead, Chris posed alongside his I’m A Celebrity… co-star Julia Morris and his TV co-hosts from The Living Room.
A source confirmed to New Idea that, despite their apparent ups and downs, the couple are still together and Chris regularly visits Liv at her Sydney apartment. They said: “Chris’ car was parked outside her place on Monday night last week!”
