The start of their relationship was one of Hollywood’s most scandalous.
But now, it’s the breakdown of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s marriage that’s making headlines around the world.
The couple’s highly publicised split is set to be pulled apart in a new documentary by investigative journalist and film-maker Ian Halperin.
According to The Sun, the documentary has promised an explosive tell-all that will expose intimate details about their romance, including the bombshell that the pair were estranged for over a year before announcing they were breaking up in September 2016.
“This is the definitive film about Brangelina and a lot of secrets are going to come out,” a source told the publication.
“Ian has covered every cough and spit of their relationship and will reveal the real reasons behind Angelina filing for divorce.”
“The biggest shock will be his claim that the couple were apart for more than a year prior to their breakup,” the source continued.
“He and his team have also managed to acquire some never-before-seen footage and interviews with both Brad and Angelina.”
Since their split, Brad, 53, and Angelina, 41, have been locked in a bitter custody over their six children.
But following Brad’s well-received appearance at the Golden Globes earlier this month, Angelina made the decision to call a public truce.
“Lately the pair have been trying to put on a united front and keep their divorce discussions quiet,” the source added.
“This is the last thing they need.”
Content Media Corporation have won the rights to the film, entitled Broken: The Incredible Story of Brangelina, which will soon be aired on TV worldwide.
