Melanie Griffith’s ex-husband Antonio Banderas has fled to a top-secret Swiss medical clinic for life-saving treatment, according to a sensational report in The National Enquirer.
The magazine reports he’s been suffering from agonizing chest pains and has even been rushed to hospital near his home in England, and is now seeking help from the exclusive Nescens Clinique in Genolier, near Geneva, which specialises in stem-cell replacement therapy which is not available in the US.
According to the Enquirer, the 56-year-old actor traveled to the facility with his girlfriend Nicole Kempel, and checked in under a false identity.
‘Antonio doesn’t want to frighten anyone, so he’s downplaying his problems,’ says a source. ‘But he’s secretly terrified he’s facing the end.’
Antonio’s rep insists he’s in ‘perfectly good health’ and only underwent ‘examinations’ at the clinic.
