The duo, who play Grace Adler and Karen Walker on the Stan sitcom, have not commented directly on the drama.

However Megan posted a fascinating Instagram post that some are suggesting may have been a dig at her former co-star and onetime chum.

‘One of the best feelings is finally losing your attachment to somebody who isn’t good for you!’ she wrote.

‘Don’t ask people for directions if they’ve never been where you’re going!’ she added.

The drama first caught public attention when Messing asked fans to support the show in the Emmys and tagged everyone connected to the show except Megan.

Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes still follow both women and have yet to pass any comment on the disappointing meltdown.

The show has been a hit with fans since its recent reboot, and the axing news took many by surprise.

Debra Messing wrote at the time the show’s creative team ‘decided it was the right time’ to wrap up the three season revival.

‘We were so lucky to have the opportunity to reunite and do the show AGAIN. It was only supposed to be 10 episodes, but because of you, the fans, it has turned into 3 YEARS,’ she wrote.
‘What a miracle. We are all committed to making this season the best ever, and to wrap up the story of Will, Grace, Jack and Karen in a way that feels meaningful and right.’
