Debbie Reynolds’ greatest fear was realized it has emerged.

In her 2013 autobiography, Unsinkable, the legendary movie star spoke about the terrifying fears she lived with about losing her daughter, Carrie Fisher to her ‘demons’.

 

‘It’s not natural to outlive your child,” she wrote. “This has always been my greatest fear… I don’t know if I could survive that.’

 She added: ‘Carrie is my child and I love her with every ounce of strength I possess.’

The Hollywood mother and daughter stars tragically passed away within one day of each other earlier this week.

Carrie never recovered from a catastrophic heart attack suffered aboard a flight from London to Los Angeles; the Star Wars actress died four days later on December 27.

After the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, 84-year-old Debbie suffered a stroke one day later.

Her son Todd Fisher said she told him hours before she was rushed to the hospital: ‘I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie.’
