Actress Debbie Reynolds has died of a stroke, following her Star Wars actress daughter’s tragic death just a day ago.
‘I miss her so much… I want to be with Carrie,’ was 84-year-old Debbie’s parting message to her family, according to TMZ.
The gossip website reveals the Singin’ In The Rain star revealed these heartbreaking final words to her son Todd at his home in Beverly Hills, just 15 minutes before she suffered a fatal stroke.
Medics responded to a 911 call at the home just after 1pm LA time today.
It has been reported that the pair were going over funeral plans for Carrie, 60, who passed away the day before after suffering a shock heart attack.
Sources say Debbie – who was married to Hollywood lothario Eddie Fisher before she left him because of an affair with Elizabeth Taylor – has been in poor health for at least a year, and had already suffered several strokes.
In confirming his mother’s death, Todd released a statement simply saying, ‘She’s with Carrie’.
