Around this time of the year we are usually hanging out to find out which celebrities will be taking to the floorboards for the new season of Dancing With The Stars.
However, it seems we may be waiting a little longer than usual this year for the return of the show which has been running since 2004!
A Channel Seven spokesperson told TV Tonight they are: ‘Still working through the casting for the next series [but it is] unlikely that it will screen in 2016.’
Earlier this year Director of Programming Angus Ross said the cast was still up in the air.
‘I would suggest, as it is every year, the return of Dancing with the Stars is dependent on the cast you can get together as to whether it would return this year or not,’ he said.
It also hasn’t been announced if hosts Shane Bourne and Edwina Bartholomew will be back.
