Dan Ewing has landed the lead role in a new film.
The 31-year-old, who is perhaps best known as Heath Braxton on Home And Away, has been cast as Jacob in futuristic movie Dunamis, Vision Pictures has announced.
The second offering from Rise filmmaker Mack Lindon, the movie is set 80 years from now, in a new world system called Sardis.
According to Mack, he wanted to ensure the flick ‘portrayed a believable progression of the internet and humanity’s response to such a system’.
Dan is joined by Wanted’s Mirko Grillini and Shortland Street’s Amanda Billing, among a host of other local and international talent, while the film will be shot in both Australia and Mexico.
‘We’re making a film about what everyone is seeing emerge. Giving insight into a possible future may enlighten people about choices we make today do affect tomorrow,’ Mack says of the premise.
