Just in case their bitter divorce battle wasn’t messy enough, Lisa Marie Presley’s ex Michael Lockwood has accused Elvis’ heir of lying about her finances.
According to Radar Online, the pair squared off in court on Wednesday over Lockwood insisting that the actress and singer should be paying his attorney fees and other court case related costs which includes $40,000 per month in spousal support.
Lockwood’s attorney, Jeff Sturman, opened the hearing with the shock accusation that Presley had declined to acknowledge all of her income.
“There is a big pool of assets that have not been discussed,” he said.
“Respondent has no assets and petitioner has hidden assets that has given her this income.”
Sturman further alleged that Presley makes around $5.5 million US per year and therefore questioned the debt she claims to have.
The mother-of-two has previously stated that she is barely scraping by financially due to money mismanagement.
This comes just days after ET obtained a report stating Presley had found “disturbing” and “inappropriate” photos of the couple’s 8-year-old twins on Lockwood’s computer.
The daughter of Priscilla Presley said she was “shocked and horrified and sick to her stomach” at the alleged discovery.
