Could Andy Lee be the new Bachelor? That’s the dream of thousands of women who are leading the push to have the hunky radio star follow on from Richie Strahan in the 2017 series.
The Bachelor campaign comes as Andy’s split from girlfriend Rebecca Harding hit the headlines last week. While many were sad to hear of his heartbreak, others rejoiced that he was single again.
‘Not devastating to thousands of young women now keen for a twirl,’ teased one.
The news led to fans jumping on the bandwagon to see Andy become the next Bachelor, with an onslaught of amusing comments – and even an online petition to help make it happen.
‘omg he’s single again,’ wrote one Facebook follower. ‘He is such a great guy Andy! New bachie for next year?’
