Parramatta Eels player Corey Norman is being investigated after he found himself the victim of extortion, involving a sex tape.
7 News Sydney reports footage of Norman was being shopped around for the ‘ridiculous’ price $150,000 to media outlets, but also to Norman’s manager to have it taken off the market.
According to Seven league reporter Liam Cox, one video allegedly shows people taking drugs, but Cox stresses, Norman ‘cannot be seen taking drugs.’
The second video, described by Cox as ‘graphic’ and explicit’ involves a naked woman and a former Penrith Panthers player.
Cox adds, ‘Nothing illegal is happening, but it is embarrassing and distasteful.’
The timing couldn’t be worse for Norman, who is facing drug possession charges in court on Wednesday.
