This week on House Rules, Sean and Ella put their paramedic skills to good use when a contestant severs an artery!
In a promo for Tuesday night’s episode, one of the twins can be seen desperately clutching at his wrist after accidentally smashing a pane of glass on the edge of a skip.
“Doctor, doctor, doctor, doctor!” he shouts, before a voice can be heard warning: “You’re going white, OK… you’re going white.”
Ella appears to immediately take control of the situation, calling emergency services for help while others tend to the patient.
“So we’ve got right wrist arterial laceration,” she explains on the phone.
“No pulse in right wrist. Life threatening.”
While the extent of the injury isn’t yet known, a Facebook post teases that the situation turns “critical.”
Speaking exclusively with New Idea, Ella reveals that there were a number of other medical incidents which weren’t shown on TV.
“We had to go into paramedic mode a few times,” she admits.
“There were lots of Band-Aids. The boys would come up to me whinging about their scratches.”
